15 Days ago, we migrated our streaming infrastructure and our servers upgrades caused some downtime delay... We apologise if some  of you missed our service for the first time in 4 years. Awdio’s streaming infrastructure has been upgraded to welcome more shows, more artists, more talents, from all over the world, with better latency and bandwidth capacities... We took the occasion to increase our Mobile developments and we will go mobile soon with a new iPhone app which will go out within 1 week from now.

 

If you are a Broadcaster and your channel experienced modifications (missing archives for instance on some channels) don't hesitate to re-upload them or come back to us. We are at your disposal to help you to get back on tracks with your Radio Shows. We will definitely help you highlight your Events and promote your next sessions.

Awdio on Orange Live Radio

Awdio just launched a distribution program along with Orange, opening 10 TOP Venues Channels to over 600,000 new users monthly. Le Baron, Bed Supperclub, Colette, The Dogstar, Hotel Costes, Cookies, Point Ephémère, Queen Club, Sub Club, Vessel will benefit a great exposure over Orange's LiveRadio home page (including iPhone, iPad, Android applications, wifi internet radios, windows widgets, and the portal liveradio.fr). Our main target is to enhance the visibility of the best Awdio Channels and always look for new ways of distribution. On Friday September 9th, advertising and marketing agency Ogilvy, will be hosting Lab Day Live in London. It promises to be a day of music featuring panels and talks from a range of key figures from across the music industry. From 1pm three stages will also be in operation, hosting some of the most exciting contemporary British music acts around. The  Awdio team will not only be present at the event, but they'll also be live streaming music music production house for the advertising industry Felt Music's stage all day featuring the upbeat pop master Kidda, indie pop singer songwriter Wolf Gang, the Glaswegian film soundtrack inspired quartet Laki Mera and the more ambient sounds of Digitonal.
Here's a taste of what to expect on the day:

The Stop Making Sense Festival will be kicking off with its live streams direct from Petrcane in Croatia today. The Gottwood Festival and Trouble Vision crew will be the first to start the festivities from 3pm local time.
Over the next few days you can look forward to the sounds of Hybrid and Dalston Superstore feat. James Dunkley and Troublevison, Bridging the Gap & Mosco feat. My Panda Shall Fry, Bare Girls and Count Chocula, the Favela Chic gang, Need2Soul feat Jerome Sydenham, Benji B's Deviation, Warm with Ali Tillet and Marcus Worgull, Sub Club Djs and secretsundaze's Giles Smith and James Priestly.
Ok so for all of us listening at home it's not quite the same without the crystalline blue sea, dazzling sunshine and half naked girls, but alt least we can enjoy the music!

For the second year running Awdio will be streaming the Best New European nominated Stop Making Sense Festival live from Petraçane in Croatia. This year boasts 3 days and nights of musical anarchy by the sea with club promoters Body & Soul, Deviation, Secretsundaze, Need2Soul, Bridging the Gap, Hybrid Life, Dalston Superstore, Favela Chic, Trouble Vision, Subclub and Warm all doing what they do best, creating a great party!

A taste of last year's festival.

Awdio and Jawbone present a new weekly daytime beach party 'Jawz' in Ibiza over nine weeks this summer starting on Wednesday 13th July with Jesse Rose and Martinez Brothers.
Over the season some top  international talent such as Dennis Ferrer, Jesse Rose, Nicolas Jaar, Radio Slave, DJ Sneak, Steve Bug, M.A.N.D.Y, Noze, Johnny D, Miss Kittin, Christian Burkhardt, Sasha Dive, Tiefschwarz, Livio & Roby.. taking over La Plage at Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza every Wednesday from 3pm.
Jawbone will be showcasing Jambox the first wire free smart speaker to the electronic music through its popup shop at La Plage every day, 10 AM, from Friday the 8th of July, until the end of August so if you're in the area you should go and have a play!
Those who aren't lucky enough to be in Ibiza this summer will of course be able to listen to the mixes live on Awdio from 3pm until midnight every Wednesday.

 

This week (17th-26th June) the Futur en Seine festival that looks to the future by celebrating the life and creativity of tomorrow, will be present in different locations all over Paris. On Thursday and Friday Awdio has been invited to exhibit among all the nominates at the 104 exhibition 'The Future of Communications, The Future of Life, The Future of the City (Entrance 5 rue Curial, 75019 Paris). They will be presenting their technical innovation the 'Awdiobox' after winning a prestigious grant from Futur en Seine and the Ile de France regional funding for its development. The AwdioBox, (what enables such high quality sound streaming on the Awdio website) is starting to make waves and this is definitely where the future of audio-streaming lies!
