In 2004, Rother replaced "Psi49Net“ with the label "
Datapunk“, as a sign of a sonic and thematic reorientation. The album "Popkiller" stormed the charts, followed by "Super Space Model“ (2006), as a masterpiece of sonic concentration. Rother has also worked with the likes of Sven Väth and ex Kraftwork member Karl Bartos and remixed important artists such as Tiefschwarz, Ellen Allien and Thomas Schumacher.
